On Sunday 12th March at 2:30pm there will be a special Service of Thanksgiving at St Helena’s in memory of Ethel Gordon Fenwick.
Ethel was a nursing reformer and former resident of Thoroton Hall, born 70 years ago this year. She is buried in the churchyard. In this service, which is open to all, we will give thanks for her pioneering work and the profession and care of nurses today.
